Feast of the Most Holy Name of Mary: September 12 - This month is dedicated to our Blessed Mother, so today pray the Litany of Loretto that reminds us of all the different names associated with her. See the link below for the entire prayer.
Exaltation of the Cross: September 14 - The cross is something we take for granted as a symbol of our faith, but in the time of Jesus, it was a way to torture and kill someone. They would never have thought to honor it the way we do. Take a crucifix in your home or make a cross together and place it somewhere special. Add a candle and a picture of Jesus and use it as an altar to pray the Stations of the Cross. Also, look up St. Helena and learn more about why we think of her during this feast day.
